MY ALBUM 'GONE IS THE ILLUSION' AVAILABLE NOW BANDCAMP!

Listen to each track, let me know what you think. $7 for the Album, $1 for each track.

This Sunday! Oct.18th @ 8pm The fifth stop on the #GoneIsTheIllusionMiniTour 'The Art Of Lyrics' at Camaradas.

Uptown Baby!!!

As many times as I've been to Camaradas for DJs throwing parties, I've never performed on the stage there. The Super King is always hype to rock new stages! Especially with the 'Art Of Lyrics' crew.

DJ Fredones was behind the decks during the MC Challenge I participated in at 'End of The Weak' during the summer. So I'm already aware of what he can do and I know it's gonna be a good one.

In addition you have L.I.F.E.LONG hosting who has always been a supporter of dope underground talent.

Rhinoceros Funk I've known since 'Art Of Lyrics was at CDC the Point in the Bronx a few years ago. So this will be a family vibed out, talent vibed out, HIP HOP vibed out show!!!

Remember be there 8pm, not Hip Hop, slash Colored folk time! I mean 8pm the show will start time!

My set list will be comprised of the joints below.

The Return
Mike Tyson Music
Clean Slate
Crazy Pussy
Lion Heart
Warganism

Post update!! Gone Is The Illusion Mini NYC Tour happening now!!

#GONEISTHEILLUSIONMININYCTOUR2015FLYER

So I wasn't chosen to play the Atlanta Hip Hop Festival A3C, or the New York Festival CMJ this year. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own tour based my recent album 'GONE IS THE ILLUSION'. Last night was the second gig on the tour at the West End Lounge for the Saturday Showcase, which was hosted by Lee Lawless of 'Universal Truth Machine', whom you've seen on this blog before from the Lit Lounge show I did awhile back! I rocked with two other punk bands last night called Bedpan Fight and Lemon Law, both were very dope!

This update is gonna be very brief, I'll add updates in a day or two. The Super King has been very busy, so it's been hard to squeeze in some blog time, but I got you covered! Photos and video were taken last night so that will be in the next update. Make it out to some of the gigs! My next one will be at the Delancey this Wednesday for an event called 'Mixed Pleasures'. Flyer below.

I'm the special guest for this edition of Mixed Pleasures!

Be sure to listen to the album and get familiar with the material. check me out on Bandcamp!

Lit lounge show may 10th 2015

I got invited to rock a show at Lit Lounge, on May 10th 2015, by Crowned Eagle Entertainment. this was the first time I rocked a show at Lit Lounge. Which might seem a little weird because I've performed at a bunch of venues in New York.

This wasn't a traditional Hip-Hop show. In fact I was the only Hip-Hop artist on the bill. I was opening up for the other groups that were rock&roll acts that put on a really great show!

Here's the flyer:

I love branching out and doing gigs where there isn't a hiphop crowd. People are listening with a fresh pair of ears and are more open to you experimenting with new things. There's also the fact that I'm performing in front of people who have never seen or heard of me before. The vibe is just different. There are plenty nights though that performing for a hiphop crowd can be tribal, the audience just gets it, and you relate to them as much as they relate to you!

The first group I opened up for goes by the name 'Universal Truth Machine', led by vocalist and guitarist Lee Lawless. Who I'm standing next to in this pic below.

They killed it during their set! More on them later!

This is me, in front of the venue before the show. Jesus,  I look so happy to be there, lol.

I was though. When I walked in and went downstairs I was greeted by the door person, the lovely, Kirsten Wicked.

She taught me a thing or two about my own camera shhhh! Don't tell nobody.

Universal Truth Machine

Yo this band is sick! They did some cover songs of the Rolling Stones which sounded great. Their original songs were great! they mixed satire and informative lyrics that curse the way media and government manipulate the public. Give them a listen and check them out at :

www.facebook. com/universaltruthmachine

&

www.youtube.com/universaltruthmachine

Lee Lawless the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band was even nice enough to give her take on my performance that night:

Nothing but love! I look forward to the day when we share the stage again! Most definitely sooner than later.

Now she mentioned my song lyrics "vagina monologues", and "riot squads". Those are from my song 'Henny on ice', off of my album #Goneistheillusion. It's a song about my sexual experiences with the opposite sex. A dream of mines came true on stage that night when I had a dancer perform on stage during my performance of that song. Check it out below!
